Thank you for your interest in the Pediatric Residency Program at Memorial Health University Medical Center. We accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS); ID 3201221400. Please contact ERAS online. Paper applications, faxes, and/or emailed applications are not accepted. We begin accepting applications for the upcoming academic year in September. A complete application consists of the following:

  • Common application form (include photograph)
  • Personal statement
  • Dean’s letter
  • Medical school transcript
  • USMLE Step 1 and 2 transcripts; Osteopathic applicants must have COMLEX Level 1 and 2 AND USMLE Step 1 and 2 transcripts (including Step 2 CS/Level 2 PE)
  • ECFMG certification (if you are an IMG or upon graduation if still in school)
  • Three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a pediatrician

If you are selected for an interview, you will receive an email via ERAS to self-schedule your interview. Approximately 130 applicants are invited for interviews each year from November through early January, and we participate in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).

We are looking for residents with a dedicated interest in pediatrics, academic talent, and high class standing. Additional criteria includes:

  • Graduated medical school within the last year
  • International medical graduate (IMG) and D.O. degrees accepted
  • Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident
